    Gskill HZ in an Asus P4P800e-Deluxe 2.5-4-4-5 @ 273.5

    2.5-4-4-5 @ 273.5 (2.55V in bios)
This is also OCCT and BF2 stable
The only problem is that I don't know if this is 1T or 2T. There is no settings in bios that have anything to do with 1T/2T, so I think this might be 2T.
There seems to be a chipset limitation because no matter how lose the timings I cannot get anything stable over 274. tRCD at 3 (x-x-3-x) is stable only up to about 230, and tRP at 3 (x-3-x-x) isn't stable at all.

Ideas? Does anyone know what settings to use for this Asus board for high bandwidth memory?

nice to see what you get overthere

i really wish Asus spend more time and $$ for AMD teams like Intel team... it is like 1:10 thats i think

    hi!!!

i have tha same rams and a different mobo (p4c800-e dlx)

    and i cant get over 265.....(iwant to hit 272 for 1/1 at 3.800 with a 3.4E (14 multi) )

which are the best settings in bios for this rams???

    settings
    ----------------------------------------------------------

    CAS(2 / 2.5 / 3)
    RAS(2 / 3 / 4)
    RAStoCAS(2 / 3 / 4)
    PRECHARGE DELAY(5 / 6 / 7 / 8)
    BURST LENGTH(4 / 8)

    PAT(enable / auto)

    IDLE TIME (infinitive / 0 / 8T / 16T / 64T / auto)
    REFRESH MODE(auto / 15.6uSec / 7.8uSec / 64uSec / 64T)
    ----------------------------------------------------------

    I would try:
    CAS: 3
    RAStoCAS: 4
    PRECHARGE DELAY: 8
    BURST LENGTH: 4
    PAT: enable
    IDLE TIME: auto
    REFRESH MODE: auto

and boot with FSB above 200. If there is the performance option, set it to standard. If you can get 265 max, and not a mHz more no matter how loose the timings are, the motherboard might be limiting the overclock. Or your ram isn't a very good overclocker.

Im glad I came acroos this post.
I parted my last system out, it had a p4p800 se and a 2.6c.
As of right now, I dont have proc but I could easily get it back.
Now that I have my HZ, it does 260 stable I want to see how far that proc can go, cause my Ballstix only went to to 240.
Thanks for the good idea to take new RAM to an old platform
