The best NB heat pipe cooler for AMD system

    Hi, all,
I don't know if this help any more FSB during your overclock.
However, it is worth to recommand to some oc freaks like you guys here.
This cooler is by far the best NB cooler that I have never seen before,
I tried it on the RDX200 and NF4 series boards, it just fit whatever the angle you
like to. Now it 's not available in US yet, but soon it will be.(could be introduce by TT)
    Let's see the cooler:

    it's "heat-pipe well designed

    he whole package:

from the 1st pic and now you can see that it can be twist any angle to fit your or board's need:

how about the base lapping job?

the cover also can be taken out and clean

install on the RDX 200 CF-DR board, some angles just never block anything

Now let's look at the real bench monitor on that. let see the temp on full operation

during the dual super pi calculation:

Well I can't say that's perfectly the one you gotta replace your original NB heatsink,
but if this cooler can give you the ideal temperature you need, why not?
Stephen will have his own perspective on this cooler. Let's also wait for his result.

    Thank you for reading.

Just about the same results, it doesn't beat my nb-1c, but is far lighter and more compatible with most motherboards. Very pleased with the performance. I have an arctic silencer, so the fan isn't even needed because the heatsink is right below the intake fan.

    Woot!

Nice review OPB looks like a pretty decent chipset cooler
I'm using the stock heatsink AS5ed and it still breaks 41c full load.

Fan is useless, I had it on for an hour, and took it off. Have not noticed any change in temperatures.

I still like that jobber that one fella did by chopping out the center of a Freezer 64 and mouting that on his NB. Freezer 64 is only like $25-30 too. Just that cutting thru all those fins is gonna require some sweet hack sawing and then you gotta tap out the base. But man that was a sweet cooler he made lol
