Yeah. While its a shame and big let down that i'm going to get screwed out of all the money I put into the car, i'm glad that the car was so incredibly safe and I was able to "almost" walk away from the accident. The car really took the hit well and in my opinion, saved my life. I don't think many small sport sedans would have done that well in such a hard impact.

While i'm looking at cars like the STI and EVO for its replacement, the one thing thats always in the back of my head is how safe the A4 is. No matter how schooled a driver you are and how many racing classes you go to, there is always people like the who destroyed my car and will make the roads unsafe.

Every car on the road is your enemy. But even then the most schooled drivers can be a victim of people like the guy who hit me.

One thing i've learned in this whole fiasco is that if you modify cars, make sure you inform your insurance company that your car has been modified so you get insured (for extra money of course) on all your extras. I spent over $6000 on mods on my Audi and since i never did this... i'm going to get screwed by my insurance on all mods done to the car. Definitely a learning lesson.

Here, I'll make a chronologic history of my truck for you guys. :P
PS- down with ford, and imports of any kind. :P

    First set of 5 pictures...

This is when I first got the truck from the Dealership, took it home to take some nice pictures to show all my buddies. Then of course, right after that, I had to go and get it dirty.

    Second set of 5 pictures;

Some pictures of the truck with more mud on it, then doing some hill climbing... And once I had my fun, I decided it was time to make my truck stand out a little bit. I took off all the badges on the truck... No more HEMI logo, no more RAM 1500, and no more Dealership tags...

    3rd set of 5 pics...

I removed the amber sections of my headlights... It took me 45 minutes, and I saved myself $200 (that's what clear headlights cost from the ricer shops) I also removed the second muffler... But that still wasn't loud enough... So I upgraded to a glasspacks...

Hey rob[GL] , nice truck! I only see one problem.... It's a gasser, I would never buy a dodge unless it's a cummins!!! I am a ford man more than anything but I like all trucks. I can't wait to see what happens when dodge looses it's cummins diesel liscense to ford. fords will be so badass after they put that engine in there superduty line.

95 ford taurus se. lol its very very slow. but its very easy to steer. and i like that.

i know a 17 year old girl with an '06 Audi S4...she just got it. she complained to her parents too much about the Audi TT they got her last year.

after my friend gets his truck done, ill post pics of the dyno results...it should have quite a bit more power than it did before. 2 superchargers eat your engines power like you wouldnt believe. very inefficient. makes ~700hp at the crank, almost 500 at the wheels. we redid the fuel injection, and put smaller pulleys on it 15psi of boost now. 406ci v8...needs to be tuned. but its too cold out.

    Haha, I really like that.

The car is kind of sad at the moment. Engine block is on the floor of my garage, but I have a box of goodies going in soon enough

I haven't posted in this thread since I got my car, but I thought I'd share some recent pics after I did my bi-annual detail routine:

    • Wash w/Dawn
    • Clay Bar (Pinnacle)
    • Rinse
    • Tape Everything off
    • 3M Finess It II (if necessary)
    • 3M Imperial Hand Glaze (awesome awesome awesome, couldn't pay me not to use it)
    • Poorboys EX-P
    • Pinnacle Souveran

Since I posted pics of it (when new), I've added a few mods like suspension, CF interior trim, angel eyes, painted reflectors, tint, CSL diffuser
Project: Find a Happy Place (in progress):
    SD4000

in all seriousness, i love this car. sure, it's not real fast, or agile.. but there's something about how it drives that no other car i've driven in comes anywhere close to
