I don't understand why my mems clocks so bad, 650 gives alot of artis in windows, and 700 is messed up =) I suspect that I may have 1,6ns chips or that the timings are too tight. I am using ATI-Tool.
Dunno if it will be any help, but I also got the HIS, but with the 1.4ns mems tho, and I had the same problem with the artis at the rams. But when i increased the volts they basicly disappeared, atleast up to 680mhz, but I didn't go any higher cous I was using the stock cooler.
Don't remember exactly what the volts was, but try to just pump them up abit at the time and see what happens, maybe it works, maybe not

I'll fit a copper cpu cooler at my card this week, so hopefully i'll do better than my previous scores/clocks.

Hey curious has anyone seen a bios editor so we can set voltages/clocks at bootup? I'd love one think it would be less stressful on the card also.

Hot lol, mines cool. I had a thermal probe on it and it was bearly warmer then the case tempature on the heatsink so add about 10C and thats what the real temp of the chip is. So mine runs ~ between 45-55C

my x800 XT ram chips were so hot i couldnt touch em for more than 5 seconds.

y do these run so cool?

    1 more problem.

In bf2 my frame rates go to crap. i dont get it. im 100% sure its overclock related. im lik 40-50 sometimes i dip into the 35's sometimes. but when im on stock settings its like 60+ all the time. are my regulators not regulating? i got a fan blowing on it already with heatsinks on em copper ones too.

I will try that! Still on the stock cooler thou, but a new maze4 on the way.

What scores do you got? I have 9500/17800/37600 in 05/03/01, with only the stock cooler, no extra fan. I can get higher scores, but the core runs so darn hot so I'll wait for the water...

I'm running the RAM nekkid, it's currently doing 600mhz 1.9v. Haven't tried higher, either. Scoring 8972 in 05 at 625/600. Very nice card.

Gonna be sweet with the maze4

I have only benched 05 yet, when the card was new in december, becasue i've been too lazy to try all progs. :P
But anyway... i got 9162 @ 621/688 (stock cooler). Cpu was at 2.7ghz and rams at "too slow speed (192Mhz)", i can't run them over 210Mhz with my DFI mobo and that's not very good...

But as I've mentioned before, I'll fit a new cooler soon and then I'll run thru all the 3dmarks, the card can defently go higher than my previous clocks with some more testing and better cooling.
I'll post the results as I go...

btw, those scores are pretty nice for a stock cooler

Anyone knows when X1900XL arrives? And the speccs?

My new maze4 is probably here in one hour or so My XL idle at insane temps with the stock cooler (and clocks), over 60 degress is standard when the fan is controlled by the card, I have checked the contact on the cooler, and it seems fine, I had much better temps with the thermal pad than the as3...

Weird with the core-voltage, lucky you that got good ram-chips! Isn't your score a little low btw?

Congrats there man. Your right up there with me in my highest of clocks. But that is an sweet OC for such a low V. Wish I was that lucky.

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1814021

Comparison this is one I did recently but still need to move up the OC on the core for max. The 6.2 drivers allowed me to downclock my OC 25Mhz on the core and still came ahead on the score from my previous one. Just wish I could hit 650 like I did one time I did way back, must of been some very cool day.

Why do you think that the score is low? Should it have got much higher at those clocks?

I'd say your score is almost right on. Maybe some background apps could be throwing it off but I think its right for the range.

man yall making me jelous. i cant(dont want more volts than already) go high than 675 on ram. but i have 1.6 chips tho.

    can some one answer this.

in ati tool if i click the auto overclock thing it goes really high like i can hit 700 before it crashes but if i set it my self to like 680 or so it crashes. same with core auto goes to around 680-700 but if i do 660 manual it crashes instantly.

I'm jelous to all who can pump more then 1.225V in it for any stable period of time and still get a good OC out of the card. I run so much cooler then some with just a tad higher voltage and yet they can still hit the high OC's. Grrr.

I got hold of Jonny boy's x1800xl card

But need some help, When using overclocker, i can set my ram clock to 700 (1.4ghz) easily but when using Ati tool, if i set it to 700, Instantly, lots of artifacts appear on the screen and then the system BSODS although through overclocker, 1.4ghz is fine and i can game for hours at that speed.

Can anyone tell me what this is happening and i have the 1.4ns ram
