    DDR266 @ DDR510, 91% OC, Weird RAM!

    Hi Guys!

I was bored @ home and wanted to try a 128MB DDRRAM stick of my Girlfriend... The Stick itself doesnt say much...

Trademark: Spectek (according Everest, division of Micron)
Chips: VT (mh, just like Kreton! )
    Speed: 128MB PC2100 (133MHz)

Nota: On the sticks the info is not quite readable... VT blablabla 4T-5
    (4T-5 = 5ns? = 200MHz, mh...)

    Procedure:

    a) Memtest86 1.60, Test #5, 5 loops
    b) Main timmings 2.5-3-3-7, all the rest AUTO
    c) 3000+ Venice, DFI NF4 Ultra-D, 623-1 BIOS

    1. 133MHz 2.6V 2.5-3-3-7 GO!
    2. 166MHz 2.6V 2.5-3-3-7 GO!
    3. 200MHz 2.6V 2.5-3-3-7GO!
    4. 210MHz 2.6V 2.5-3-3-7 BAD!
    5. 210MHz 2.65V 2.5-3-3-7 GO!
    6. 220MHz 2.65V 2.5-3-3-7 BAD!
    7. 220MHz 2.75V 2.5-3-3-7 GO!
    8. 230MHz 2.75V 2.5-3-3-7 BAD!
    9. 230MHz 2.8V 2.5-3-3-7 GO!
    10. 240MHz 2.8V 2.5-3-3-7 BAD!
    11. 240MHz 2.9V 2.5-3-3-7 GO!
    12. 250MHz 2.9V 2.5-3-3-7 BAD!
    13. 250MHz 3.1V 2.5-3-3-7 GO!
    14. 255MHz 3.3V 2.5-3-3-7 GO!

    OVERCLOCK de 91% !!!

    PIC:

Nota: I tried to join the 100% OC Club but the sticks were not WINXP Bootable although they're the 1st 5 runs of Memtest Test#5 stable at 3.5V, care 2 help me stabilizing them?

    My Personal Records:

    Infineon BH-6 (1x256MB) at 290MHz [2-2-2-5] at 4.0V // CPU-Z
    // PIC
    Infineon BH-6 (2x256MB) at 270MHz [2-2-2-5] at 3.63V // PIC // BENCH 1 // BENCH 2
    Kreton UTT (1x512MB) at 270MHz at 3.35V [2-2-2-5] // CPU-Z // PIC
    Infineon BH-6 (4x256MB) at 270MHz at 3.8V [2-2-2-5] // CPU-Z // BENCHMARKS

This is the info i just found:

    Code:
    128M // VT3212164T-5 // DDR400 // 2.5V // TSOP II
    - The Chips are Kreton's, it seems that Spectek relabeled these chips and binned them at PC2100 lol. Why PC2100 if they're PC3200? :P

    - Found no OC information.

    My Personal Records:

I did a test with some similar stuff a while back. It did 235mhz 2-2-2-5 2.9v. Tony (bigtoe) said it was easier to clock 128mb sticks because it has to move less amounts of memory than 256 or 512 does.

    Not bad thou
