AMD FX-57 SPI 32MB New WR (UPDATE)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I just set a new WR for AMD SPI 32MB.

    Super Pi 32MB Result : 19m 17.656s

    Test Rig
    --------
    CPU : AMD FX-57 0516 WPMW @ 3810 Mhz (254*15) 11/25 BIOS
COOLING : Dry Ice with 2.5in copper Mousepot
    RAM : SANMAX BH-5 512MB * 2
    MB : DFI nF4 SLI-DR Expert
    VGA : Geforce 6200
    PSU : OCZ Powerstream 520W * 2

    VCORE : 1.5v * 1.09= 1.635V (BIOS)
    VDIMM : 3.48V (BIOS)

Special thanks to Mikeguava, MZABBA, and all the other people who helped me come this far.

Without increasing the vcore I can run upto 256 * 15 pi stable, but 32mb spi times are slower than the 'more stable' 254 * 15. Think I will need LN2 in the future to stabilize FSB 256 or maybe more..

    It's a #0058 I believe - at least that's what Mike tells me

@ Formyfaith: That is simply one of the most awesome cpu's ever...Nice work on the spi run. Just fyi, I know some people may point to this - your digicam pic should have been made DURING the run and not after. That's almost the same as a screenshot. I don't personally care about it, but there are that do

    Wow, great time

Someone with one of the 3.9+ Ghz FX's needs to try 32m, I wanna see AMD into the 18m barrier.

Crazy WR. Nice job. Theres only 2 thing I ask: Can you rerun with tref = 100 1.56us & lidle cycle limit=000clks. Those might help. I never heard of SANMAX ram before.

Thank you for your advice Stephen. Next time I'll take the digicam pic during the run. BTW this is the one Mike sent me, and chip no. is 154.

Will try to run with those settings next time. I bought the SANMAX from a Japanese auction a few year's ago, and have just discovered them to be so nice only a few weeks ago.

If I'm right SANMAX is a Japanese brand, and they showed pretty nice results during the NF2 ages.

I have a feeling that running with a TREF of 100, 1.95u and an ICL of 0 may not benfit you that much at that high of a speed, but then again, since your memory speed is so low, it may work. Well, if you're going to try those values, you may as well try a TRFC of 11 since that is MUCH faster than any other TRFC value I've ever used (at least at lower clockspeeds):

Thanks for the advice, I'll try lower TRFC also. As discussed before it's so hard to stabilize the system for good SPI times under such high cpu speed. Hope I can stabilize the TRFC @ 11 along with better ICL, and TREF.

Low (reserved) Tref kills performance on some setup's. I know on this RDX if I drop below the 200mhz 3.9us system performance takes a big hit running pretty much standard BH-5 settings.

Under bios, 4708 normally runs faster than 3120, which I've used for benching, but still too hard to stabilize it at 3810 Mhz
