hi guys, i have bought 3 kit og GSKILL pc4000 2GB HZ but i have a problem, the ram not go over the 260 mhz, i have dfi lanparty ultra with the last official bios, can you give me the bios setting? i want go at least at 270-280 rocj solid

my cpu is an opteron 165 dual core, i have tried the bios setting at auto and then ar 3 4 4 8

bios auto is not good
if you using DFI Ultra-D, SLi-D and SLi-DR you need to give good timing and best Data Level. otherwise it will result very unstable

I looked in that thread to page 5 and only found a post where you show to be running a 9\10 divider. I would like to run 1:1 in a DFI NF4 SLI-DR @ like 265-275fsb. Could you please list out the timings like RyderOCZ does instead of making us go thru 12 pages of another thread not knowing which setting in that thread to use?

Translate and try the following settings in bios. (TREF = 3684)
I have these running @ 270 @ 2.56v without any problems, 32M stable

Most people have found the 623-1 BIOS to work best with these sticks...

Tried on a new ADO revision ultra-d and no joy above 268. will try to play some more try latest bios but i think mine are stuck at 268 max.

I am using trc 7, trfc 13, max A.L 8ns, read 5ns, but not stable at all. anything over 250fsb wont do PI 32m. I have to set my CPU to 250 and 1:1 to make it do PI 32m... I am trying to use 270 1:1, all the timings post on the other threads not working for me.

currently i have drive strength 7, and data strength 1. is it too low? i tried 8/3 and 7/3 both give error on PI.

any helps please?

Hi there, I've also set my Ultra-D bios to the following, however the only difference is my HTT is at 300mhz and I have it set to 180mhz divider and the TRFC set to 15. The effective memory speed is 270mhz. However, it is not stable at those settings. When I drop it down to 166mhz divider (effective memory speed of 245mhz), then it's stable.

btw, i have the opteron 165 so I don't know if running dual Prime95 blend test would throw off the results. Since the settings that you prescribe are for a single core CPU, are there stable settings for dual core cpu if I want to OC the memories? thanks!

hummm there are a good way to test it!

1. lower your CPU to 250 * 7 or 8 with the setting you have
2. start sp2004 large test or prime95 large test or memtest windows version
3. start clockgen
4. using clockgen to increase the FSB 251, 252, 253, until your test show error
5. restart your computer and increase .03v
6. repeate 1 to 4 again, if no big FSB increases, go to next step 7
7. lower about 5 FSB and do the full tests

i have my vdimm to 2.73 and running SP2004 to test

my settings right now are 269 x 11

EDIT: fails SP2004 test....dammit. guess i need to mess with a64 tweaker for a bit.
