take a look at this guys:

hopefully you all know that Samsung UCCC ICs which can be found on todays enthusiast RAM is revision C based.

whether revision D of Samsung 64×8 ICs will bring us what revision F of 32M×8 ones did, it remains to be seen.

anyway, here are some links (with a few more pics):

its not the point what specific RAM brand/model is one those links, but rather that rev. D of Samsung 64M×8 ICs has finally arrived.

FYI, first time current rev. C UCCC was spotted, it was also on some value CL3 rated stuff.

    no, 4000EB is still CE-6.

the one with UCCC posted in that thread was either some kind of production error or retailer's fraud.

The photo that person was showing few weeks ago was UCCC Rev.C and most likely it was some shaddy stuff on the seller's side or fake anyway... Besides, we're yet to see UCCC doing 5-2-3-2.5(3.0) @ DDR500

I wonder, what Rev.D is going to bring us? DDR600 for the masses, not the chosen ones only ? Good find, high5...

    thanks.

well, i'm hoping it'll bring us the flexibility TCCD did. high OC potential and low latencies (not necessarily 2-2-2, 2-3-2 would also be nice) at lower speeds.

probably just a die shrink with minor tweaks, similar to the differences between micron C and D
