Can you post a picture of the CPU/CPU MOSFET area of the board please. Have you tried checking Vcore using a multimeter? Software readings are almost always inaccurate.

it is very strange.. every time i change the vcore at 1.4 vcore monitor displays a range of values from 1.49 to 1.54 . if i set 1.65-1.7 it displays from 1.52 to 1.61..BUT the strange thing is that after 10-15 minutes from the power up vcore monitor displays the value that were set in the bios. and the tempratures confirm this vcore, infact @1.4 i've got 40° in idle, @1.5 45°, and with 1.65 or more 50+.

You should be able to check the true Vcore at any of the points I've marked. If you get a lot of voltage fluctuation/Vdroop on your multimeter using those points, I'll help you look for a mod to help stop it

i check tomorrow the voltages at the point that are marked.

the main problem is that when i change the vcore settings from bios and i reboot , voltages are totally unwrapped... after 10-15 minutes they become "normally"

i put on another bios version and i haven't got the problem in changing vcore.
voltages drops of 0.05(real vcore). and if i set 1.6 in the bios it drops from 1.61 to 1.67-68. if i set 1.40 it dispalys 1.45.

Too bad, had to cancel my planned OC-session with my P4 670 and LN2, because I have no mods on my P5WD2.

Which one is difficult? Made the Vdroop and VCore in some minutes, both are easy as hell. The others don't seem to be difficult either.
