Awesome endeed. Though these blocks are just prototypes, their cooling potential should be great. Can't wait to test it

Flisko, I would like to urge your company to use Delrin as the top to the waterblock instead of lucite. It reduces the bling factor, but the reliability goes way up.

For the PWM, just extend the block a bit. Dont need a flow channel for them as keeping them frosty isnt all important. Just relatively cool,

how would those waterblocks work in a crossfire situation? I don't think there will be room unless you change the in/out take to be perpedicular to the sides of the card, insteal of the top.

AS with the thread that preceded it, this thread is to keep discussion on the x1900 to a minimum. Only posts with a link to a review or new info will be allowed.

I think some people don't get the point of this thread.....

Not to worry gentlemen. Maxx, I'll be doing that once we have a firm release dates and previews start showing up.

As of right now I'm encouraging as many people as possible to post whatever they find on the card.

    okie then...
By Fuad Abazovic in Las Vegas: Friday 06 January 2006, 21:40

ATI Multimedia division is working hard to prepare its flagship All in wonder card based on R580 chip. Its expected that the company plans to name this product All in Wonder Radeon X1900.
The card should end up at similar clock to the discrete R580 and it will be available just a week or two after the R580, Radeon X1900 XTX discrete launch.

Back at summer of 2005 we criticized All in Wonder group for being to slow on market but someone heard our screams and actually surprised us with effectives this time.

The company also has X1300 based Radeon All in Wonder 2006 out at the market running just fine and offering great multimedia experience for not so much money.
    http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=28801

We asked around some of the big guys who say that ATI has been shipping its R580 - the Radeon X1900 XTX - to them for some time. More than one source confirmed that ATI is preparing for a massive hard launch of its new line, as it will be able to ship the cards when it announces them. In fact, the cards are being sent to shops and OEMs as we speak and they are in production, so everything looks hunky dory for the Canadians right now.

It presents that X1900 has got config as
    - 48 Shader processors
    - 48 Discrete flow control unit
    - 166 billion Pixel shader ops/sec
    - 553.8GegaFlops/sec
There are also more pic, mostly look the same as Perkam put on this post .

Edit: Sorry... error typing ... not 1.12ns but 1.2ns as eva2000 stated , then correctting it.

wow, they could have easily took a pic of the X1800XT if they were feeling lazy. Only the keenly aware will notice the 7 mosfets.

anyway, sounds like my predictions on the theoretical shader performance were spot on. Should make it a lot more evenly matched against NVIDIA.

Is that at all accurate? Seems a little excessive to me...719 euro is almost 875 US :/
