can't wiat to see 3.6G Dual core
Dual core scores about 1200-1300 points clock to clock versus a singel core in my tests in 03, as well as in 05 In game test 2 of 3d05 a 3100MHz dual core performce like a 3600MHz singel core. In game test 1 3100MHz performce like 3550MHz. The really nice thing is that gametest 3 that really aint that cpu limited gains a few more fps from dual core than i expected.

With some luck now I should have the system up and running this friday. If everything works as it should it will outperform a 3900MHz 57 quite easy. There is a few poblems though that confuses me, but it's solveable with some more testing im confident.

Why are you guys freaking out over the voltage? KIWI I think it was ran 1.9v or something into a 7800. I know Jason has done 1.8v. You won't get to the top with an "I better not go to high or it might fry at these "limits" people make up" attitude. You might not have the balls to do it but Kinc does. Can't wait to see him at the top again

Frick, I just saw this thread for the first time today...this is ridiculous...I never thought to see these kinds of gains out of the '60...gotta love it.

I've been away on a ski trip the last 8 days. Got home today. I will do a quick test with ln2 all over with the fx60 tomorrow. That is the last day I've got with the Gainward 7800 GTX512's, they want em back Hopefully I will get a few nice results on dual core before I have to return em. Atleast it will be very fun to play with these things under LN2. I got to admit that I have been thinking alot of the FX-60 in the slopes the last week

Good to hear you get to play with the FX-60......but why wouldn't Gainward let you keep them? That is weak.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised that they want em back now after 1½ month. They look horrible and are really greasy. The sad thing is that they can handle -120C, booting in to win and all. Hopefully they will be able to have em back to me as soon as the site that is supposed to review em is done with em. I'm crossing my fingers it will be soon enough

lol, I can imagine the review:

"The cards arrived at my door today, I opened up the boxes to be confronted with two horribly greasey cards. What the hell has Gainward been doing with these!?"

Within the next 24 hours, if all goes to plan, expect Kinc to take all single card and SLI WRs.

    Will 19k 3d05 SLI fall ?
Will 14k 3d05 Single Card become reality ?

    Stay Tuned.

EDIT: wkmgt, good god, nice rig and nice stuff in that sig there !! FX-60 flexing its muscles no doubt.

It's always fun around the forums when new hardware comes out.
Good luck with your fx-60 kinc . Same one as before? I would love to see some dual core 3600mhz 3d action. Bummer about the cards too....thats wack.
