your General Hard drive usuage is about 4 times higher then the current highest PCmark2005 score... and that guys using some seriously insane SCSI stuff...

your start up score is also about 4 times higher then the current top.

your hard drive virus scan is also twice as high as his...

his HDD Start up score... 23.9

yours... 79.2

heres the score I am looking at, the current top for the ORB.

as far as I can see... no one can seem to match your hard drive scores on the front page of the ORB.
also, I see, that a 3.3 ghz X2 seems to be able to match your CPU portion of that benchmark...

so it would seem, your score is mainly from whatever hard drives your using, and from the looks of it, it looks like a Ram Drive of some sort...
but thats just my guess.
Mike's not running a Ramdrive (at least I'm pretty sure he's not). From the looks of it, he's running an LSI Logic Scsi Raid controller with a nice array of drives. Setting a partition just large enough to run PCMark is optimizing his score even further. Those controllers aren't considered cheats and they're not exactly cheap either Nice work Mike....maybe I'll have to send you my sample PCI-E Sata2 RAID controller which I should be getting soon...... .
