I need some stuff - tiny budget

okay, I want to upgrade my lousy computer.
    I need:
    1) a CPU (I think that Opteron will be the best CPU for me, I want to OC)
    2) a Mother-Board (good OC potential)
    3) a Video card (Maybe a nice 7800GT?)
    4) 1024MB RAM
    5) a PSU (not generic!)

all this have to be from this shop

    can you help me?

well, I have tryed to make myself something:

    AMD Opteron 148 Venus
    DFI LAN-PARTY UT ULTRA-D
    XFX GeForce 7800GT
    HEC 400ART

as you can see I gave up on the memory, I will buy it as soon as I get more money (meanwhile I will stick with my good old 1024 Value stick)

    what do you think?

Out of the PSU's you can get from tigerdirect, i'd go with an enermax or silverstone.. those seem to be ur best bet.

    • Athlon 64 3700+ and the OCZ memory that you found.
    • Opteron 148 and the value memory that I have now (Twinmos)

edit: oh ! its too expensive, I cant afford a PSU after all that...

I guess that I will have to stay with my idea...

    Opteron 148
    DFI LP
    7800GT
    Value Twinmos 1024
    HEC 400ART

now I have got a question, will the memory really ruin my OC?

    this one?
I am not so sure about it, because I have heared that ULTRA is the about most generic thing in the market...

is it really good? d you have any benchmarks?

BTW - I want to take the "Open Box" product, is it recommended? or dangerous? can I get a broken PSU?
