sorry for the n00b question, but where can I change voltages with atitool beta10? a screenshot would help..

looks like Quake IV can finely run for me at gpu 680Mhz, but when i run FEAR full version, it gives me bigger white blocks randomly appearing on screen, only fix was decreasing gpu voltage to 1.2V so 640Mhz is without errors. I modded watercooling a little and now i got 35C idle and 44C under load (640Mhz) :-)
For sure, it doesnt matter if i got 80C with zalman under load or 50C with watercooling (700Mhz) i didnt get better results, just better temperature and silence.

it would be beautiful can flash 1800XL bios with 1800XT bio..I look that the core of XL can run at 625mhz, but the memory can't run at 750mhz (XT frequency)..memory of XL often don't arrived at 700mhz..
exists any XT bios modded with frequency at 625 for core and 600-650mhz for memory?(because XL's memory can't run at XT frequency)
it would be beautiful to make recognize to the system 1800XL as a 1800XT, then with core frequency@default at 625mhz![]()

Ok who has the highest XL on 03 and 05 marks posted?? I don't know if Fugger has the one up there if thats XL or XT but that other guy boble76 who's that?
Otherwise I think I got the crownFor both since no one puts if its either a XL or XT half the time grrrr.

Well not sure if its a top score or what with the XL's but I'd be damn amazed if it is. Because im no where near optimized either, just slapped drivers in there, no tweaking in CCC, just what ever is default. And theres still crap running in the background.

Big time memory clocks via ATI Tool. I could run mine past 900Mhz with overclocker but the best it would do with ATI Tool was 715. You still need a couple hundred points to reach the top![]()

Fugger... Did you have any issues with your core on the XL taking higher voltage? Did you happen to mod it in any way besides giving it a new cooler?
I'd love to take my core higher but for some reason I hit a voltage wall, at least I thought I did. We had the same core numbers at least but I know OC is all up in the air but I'd think at least the voltage it would take should be the same.
Loads temps is not an issue since its in the mid 50's.

I can get it to boot at 2800 easily, but the bench fails during the CPU tests. Not a heat problem - just a divide by zero problem. I am weary of applying more volts.
If I had a little more overclocking skill and knowledge I am sure I could do better. Even on air.

Only 10088 score I see showing all drivers and that for the X1800's was a ThickBrit and that was an XT pulling 722/810. I think Futuremark has some screwed up results because im seeing more and more results now above my score that where posted earlier then mine.Originally Posted by Quigs
What so what you really running your X2-4400 at just the 2.4Ghz in your sig or the 2.7Ghz you mentioned? What type of cooling you running? What voltage? I was just able to squeeze 2.7Ghz out of mine runs on the very high end in benches of 48C but otherwise max I've been able to get it was 46 for a split second doing 3D Renderings. Its stable too but ya im sitting in the same boat as you, I can get 2.8ghz to run, in windows and all but throw a bench at it, and say hello to BSOD (god been a long time since I seen that screen).
I'm just glad I got 2.7 since thats what I really wanted at least.

XL can't work with XT bios (625mhz/750mhz), because memory of XL often doen't arrive at 700mhz, true?
so it need a XT bios modded (625mhz for the core and 600-650mhz for the memory) to flash XL card..
It can arrive at the 700Mhz just need more volts 2.150V seems to be a spot where most are able to hit the 700Mhz barrier.Originally Posted by scampi
But what we just need is an editor to make our own bios. I'd love to have one that just sets mine to 630/720 right at boot, with my custom voltages thats needed for it.
Since everyone seems to take different voltage for similar clocks I'd like it that way more then anything.

yes, it would be also beautiful for me to set frequency in bios (for example 625/650)..so when I turn on the pc, this frequency are just that without need to use utility (atitools, overclockers..)
I would like to set frequency in bios, or flash XL bios with another with frequency more high
there is 2 possibility:
1-someone create a XL bios modded with frequency more high (for example 625 mhz for the core and 600-650mhz for the ram)
2-someone create a editor to make our own bios
