    Opteron 175 Box stepping

    A friend of mine in US is going to buy a boxed opteron 175 for me .
    I don't want to get a 0541 as they dont seem to clock well.

    Anyone know what stepping is available at newegg ???

    I got one from newegg 2 wks ago. stepping CCBWE 0530. but I am stuck at 255X11 (2805Mhz).

    I got my OEM 170 from NewEgg today. It's an 0530. They are OOS now though. My sig should change very soon!

    I can say for a fact that NCIX.com has 0541RPMW retail 170's and OEM 170's.
    As of Nov 28th.

    They have received more stock since then though, so your mileage may vary as usual

    Just got my OpterOWNS 175 CCBWE 0530 from NewEgg and my Freezer 64 Pro. I'll post results when I put all together.

    To my bad luck my boss sent me to Canada right when the components arrived to my home so here I am reading people's posts waiting to come back home and build my new ultimate killing machine

    I'm pretty excited since I have been on the Intel side for many years... now can't wait to see the AMD power

    hmm, I wonder if that's the stepping i'll be getting.
    I ordered yesterday afternoon, and will recieve it today.

    Off-topic the 170 I ordered from the egg was an 0541, but that was about a week ago.

    Μy 0530TPMW can do 2.6Ghz stock cooler/voltage dual prime stable .

    i got 2.9gighz stable on a stock AMD cooler with a 0530 170

    I gave it to my brother, I have a 175 0530 that I cant afford, so I ended up with a 165.

    It sucks compared. It does 2.7 w/ 1.5vcore

    Well so far I'm having some issues. I can run my 175 0530TPMW 2.7Ghz (AC Freezer 64 Pro) Vcore 1.40 Temps Iddle: 35 Load: 43 I love the AC Freezer.

    But I can run it stable at DDR333 but can't run it stable at DDR400 which is the memory I use. I believe the problem I have is related to having 4x512 Sticks (2 Gigs)

    Here is the model of the memory I have: 2 Gigs (4x 512)

    Crucial Ballistix 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) System Memory * Model #: BL6464Z402
    Dual Channel


    The mobo is an Asus A8N-Sli Premium with the latest Bios.
