My 0516 FX-57 died in my arms last night...

It was a murder-suicide. PSU killed itself, took CPU with him. What a shame too as this chip did 3.65Ghz with 1.65v and -5C load temps. I think I may cry. In fact, everybody cry for me.

These powersupplies keep on dying on people

PCP&C are no longer on my list, Hipro5's "research" revelead a pretty screwed up mechanism in them too. Well, I guess OCZ and Zippy stay..
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

your PC & C 510 SLi died and fried out your CPU with it in the process... they are usually pretty top notch... I just $hit canned a Hiper type-R 580 SLI power supply because my system kept restarting for no aparent reason. It got great reviews from like 30 tech sites but terrible from like 4 or 5 and I guess it all depends on the unit you got but im going with a Seasonic S12-600 anyway not going to chance it again even thought the Hiper was the best looking PSU i ever had. oh well

    any warranty on that FX-57

yeah I was torn between the ocz 600 powerstream and the seasonic s-12 but heard some scary reports about OCZ psu users, having blowing up problems or failed torture tests,,,, as long as its working so far

    That sucks man
Maybe get in contact with pcp&c and let them search for the error?
That might help all of us.
I think they are interested in it when you tell them. You're not a nobody and they have a much better support than DFI.

I really like my Enermax 660... It's a monster too, about 1 1/2 inches longer than the PCP&C 510, and a lot heavier (especially considering the Enermax case is Aluminum vs. PCP&C that is metal).

If you need higher end for cheap, you may want to try this... runs my new rig great! (see sig).

I have both enermax 660W (which not work with RDX200) and Zippy 700W that wont work with SLI-D jumpered 4V dimm. Its working ok with RDX though, but it kinda weird to run 3.6Vdimm w/out changing any jumper.

    Same faith...RIP

The Zippy will work with the 4v jumper:

This was with my Zippy 700W when it was still alive and kicking

Yeah, Enermax, OCZ, Tagan, and Antec are real good PSU's. You guys must have forgotton...

    -Tagan
    -OCZ
    -Topower

^^All higher-end models, are teh same thing. Topower makes Tagan's Higher Models (2force) and OCZ's Powerstream and Modstreams.
