    2gb Ocz Pc-3200 Gx Xtc

    New memory in house for review...

    Running DDR400 2-3-3-8 no problems, already took it to 243 Mhz 2.5-3-3-8 and memtested stable. $259 this stuff may be a very sweet deal. Full review to come in the next 7-10 days.

    Plz do some 32m Spi action or 3dmark 2005. IMO nothing else proves much stability.

    Doubtful the UCCC stuff would do any tighter than Cas3 for me. This is feeling more like the Infinion that was in the PC4000 EB sticks.

    yes, this is infineon definitely. could as well be the stuff that didn't make 4000eb.

    dnottis, would you mind testing whether its hard to remove these new h/s?

    btw, how much do these cost? didn't see them on newegg.

    @racinjimy
    no uccc would do cas2 afaik.

    there's also pc4000 2gb kit rated 3-4-3-8 with new h/s, thats uccc.

    Yeah, this is Infineon, but you're paying extra for all the bling over G.Skill offerings. Mushkin probably also has a similar product coming out that didn't make the Redline binning, if I had to guess....might cost less.

    Looks good though for a PC3200 part

    pc4000 xtc 2gb kit is the same thing like gold pc4000 2gb, just different h/s. its uccc, high frequency capable (270-280mhz), loose timings, low volts.

    and they're rated the same, 3-4-3-8@250mhz.

    The 4000 with UCCC cannot. The XTC stuff can run 2-3-2-5, I havent tried 2-2-2-5. Cas 2.5 up to ~248, over 250 needs cas3 and this is with PC3200.

    nice review dean.

    that xtc pc3200 seems like a very good choice.

    however, there are a few errors/typos: on page #2, you put wrong specs, ones for 512mb gold xtc sticks and on page #4 you wrote infinion instead of infineon.

    Good Review and I am having the exact same problem you listed in your cons. I am new to overclocking and this is my first OC'ed rig. Does this the OCZ Gold XTC 3200 not work well in a Lanparty Nforce 3 250GB UT??? My voltage is at 2.7 I went into the Dram Config and set everything to Auto, cept the 2/3 mem divider for my Sempron OC which is 298x8 1.4v. Help in getting this Ram to work is much appreciated.
