    really a monster !!! 955xe hit 5062mhz with RadWaterCooling

though cannot do any test except raising up cpu_clk , great cpu, great intel

isn't it the world's 1st 5.06G dualcore cpu with HT under common-used cooling devices ?

Sorry I'm not an Intel person, but 955xe is the chipset or the Processor? or both? (xe being the Extreme Edition CPU?). And 975 is a new chipset in production by Intel?

Hmm, I do wonder indeed why Intel says we need a new chipset. Have you tried all kinds of applications to make sure everything is nice and stable? No problems with conflicts at all?

Edit: and I want to see that monster on phase change

    as far as i know
    975p is nothing but 955x with 2 pci-e at 16x

so 975p will do better crossfire.

    if i'm wrong,correct me

what kind of superpi speed is it giving when just running one instance at 5ghz? like 26 or so?

first time i've been tempted by something that looks something like a P4 in a long time. so what is the chip exactly the new smaller core xtreme edition dual core with a couple new instruction sets?

whats the stock voltage on the cpu? assuming its smaller core its got lower stock voltage than the current ones? not read anything on intel's stuff for ages.
