    ATI's only hope at this point is CF as we have yet to see what it's capable of on X1800 platform in the right hands.
    Or if they boosted the pipes to 24 or 32.

    eVGA's step-up MSRP is $699 and there's a long ass line, get in it now if you want a chance of getting a card this month.

    Im not sure, I would think so with the new drivers though.

    My x2 clocked at 2.5ghz (7800GTX@ 500/1400) scored the same as my Opteron 146 at 2.9ghz (same GFX card speeds) .
    If you can get a dual core to run that high, I would think they would score better. But I have no way of backing this up besides what I said about my x2.

    Having trouble getting my BFG over 623 core, is this about the limit on stock volts? My memory will not pass coolbits test past 1850, is there an overclocking tool with memory timing. Maybe if I loosen them I can get to 1950 and see if the bandwidth helps

    I have done that...
    But the problem now is every time i OC with the rivatuner test, the card runs only with low3D clocks...must be some error with rivatuner and this card/driver version...
    For example: i put the card in rivatuner @ 650/1900 and in 3DMark05 it only runs @ 500/1900...the core doent run at correct speed.
    Anyone has experienced that??

    Really CPU limited here....but I'm still impressed, I can't imagine what a 3Ghz A64 would do...

    260x10 = 2600Mhz - Dram 180div : 236Mhz 2-2-2-5-1T (max CPU speed is 2673Mhz)

    The GFX frequencies was as high as I could get, disabling internal tests gave me a much lower score...even at 625Mhz with no artifacts at all...

    Have you tried Force performance mode in rivatuner ?
    Everything extra is bad!
