Fugger has a bios that shuts off the temp reading.
He is either going to e-mail it to me or post here in this thread.

Test it and tell us if it works

Here is a bios that Fugger sent me. I'm not sure how it works, you may want to ask him. I think it adds XT voltage.

Kingpin has tried both bios files and was unable to fire up on the temp reading bios. The difference is Vince has a real XT and I know this works on XL.

ATI explained to us that there are different revs of cards now and the bios I have will not work on all cards.

OPB what cooling did you use with that SPI run -38C? Must be some kind of custom cooling or modded prom/vapo.

A modded Prommy on a DFI NF4 should only read about -20C when at Idle.

-38C is alot more then a modded prommy.

don't let the temps fool you.

The temp reading bios made my card (xt) completley inoperable, so I would strongly advise against flashing to it if you have an xt. THe only way to bring it back to life is to "hotflash"it with another pci card. I have been experiencing some issues with the card and I am pretty sure it's the cold causing it. It rocks at 720/830 at 10c evap temps, but as soon as I go below zero I get trouble....even at only a few mhz higher.

btw--These are the correct reading points on the xt:

Maybe there are differences between cards(x1800-x1800x), but all these reading points in color were wrong for my card. THe ones in black are correct.
The overclocker utlility does a pretty accurate job of increasing all three settings. I am going to do some monitoring of the card volts under load today.

The card is throttling the volts back about .05 under load as well as the clocks if I go just a little below 0c...maybe 1 or 2 degrees c. Working on getting the right bios still....
