1.1ns is really new and went to mass production recently.
You are probably right about this, I thought about this but I wasn't sure.

Im never sure thats why i abuse "guess" and "think" alot
Its in some pdf file the date it went to production gonna see if i find it.
They both use 2.0V± 0.1V is what i see so far..
September 25th 1.1ns was added to the pdf file and i guess it went to mass production a little later then that.

The 1.1ns ram was probably produced as 1.2ns, but speed binned as the process has improved to the point where yields at this speed are in sufficient volumes.

That's unlikely......1800Mhz isn't the max of the memory...sampsa has his memory up to 1890Mhz...now your not gonna do that with 1.26ns memory I think

The memory is officially listed at Samsungs page....it's 1.1ns...

I pushed the 1.4ns to 1900Mhz screen shot and 1800Mhz was benchable if I could cool the core enough.

As much as I like the X1800XT, I don't think a clock speed boost of a mere 25mhz will do anything against the 7800GTX 512MB.

    Nice OC fugger, btw

    Nice clocks! I can't get my 1.2ns past 819mhz ( 1639) looks like I have a dud...is the card iced up - or air @ 73C?

First AIB partner to respond seems to be Asus with this card:

Not bad...but I have a feeling that cooler is bigger than it looks, remember the ATI stock isn't entirely a rectanble...this is

Only thing is, once the Arctic Silencer for the X1800 hits, there'll be little use for this

yes its like the dual 7800gt card from asus, it has an external power supply but it can be hooked upto your powersupply, just unhook the connector and plug you 6pin in from your psu

Yes it is.....same as the Dual GPU's from ASUS....cleaner power, takes away the human factor in getting the cards to run at that speed (as in people using crap PSU's and still expecting their cards to function perfectly fine)

    Gosh I'm happy I went with a 600watt Powerstream.....happy that I did...

I might have found a piece of info that might alow higher clocks on the core. What we are seeing now are R520 rev A14 and A15. Dave at byeond3d states theres a A23 out there too.
    http://www.beyond3d.com/reviews/ati/r520/index.php?p=11
Read whats on this link about A23. The queston is what is A23 and why are they not being used right now? Could this be what a X1800XTPE will use?
