Nice one x714n, my CAB2E is roughly inline with the results you've got there I've left it priming @2800/1.47v today, had errors after 2hours @ 1.45 so hopefully it'll scrape thru today.

What kind of temps are you seeing under full load? Gettin around 45c tops here.

any further results on your cab2e's? i just got an email from tank guys saying that they will be shipping my 144 cab2e (yay finally lucked out with a decent stepping) on monday or tuesday, they came in last night.
their website shows out of stock but i am pretty sure they have like 3 or 4 left right now(i mean right now - 1250 et) so if you pre order you might get one of these. good luck, if you order.
still wondering how these are doing with higher vcore.

my 146 at 1.72 vcore only hits 50 - 51C at load on good air. so i am not too worried about putting some voltage into the cab2e. any chance to hit 3gig? i have been trying to hit or break 3gig since xp2500 barton/xp 3200 barton/2500 barton mobile/3200+ c0/3400+ cg/3000+, 3200+ 3500+(3400?) newcastles/3000, 3200, 3500 winnys (hit 2910 with the 3200)/3200, 3500 venice (dogs)/3700 sandy (2900 again)/ 3800 x2 e6 toledo (2900 again)/ and now opty 146 cabge(2800, good for cabge, not so good for opty). so have been trying for 3 years, since other guys have hit 3gig on air. really hope this will do it. (whine whine whine)

Got my opty 144 with the same exact week and stepping today from wiredzone. It's been priming at 2835mhz for about 30 minutes, and so far so good. Temps are hovering around 49-52 degrees at 1.488volts (auto + .04%) cooled by a Zalman 7700. Gonna bump it up a notch if this stays error free for another hour.

good enough. lmk man because i also ordered the 148 oem from newegg that current "legend" says is a cabne. if the cab2e comes close to 3 gig, i can still cancel my newegg order and save restocking fee.
    thanx.

    @IceMole: Nice!

Settings? Curious if you are using a divider too. And what tests does it pass out of: superpi 32m, occt, s&m, prime95 (like 12+ hours). Also what batch is it, ie. the last 4 numbers on the third line on the CPU heatspreader?

I'm finding my 144 CAB2E doesn't like running high FSB on 1:1 (went up to 289*9 fine on 1:1), but dividers seem to work a treat higher than this. Mine passes OCCT and superpi no problems at 2.8GHz using 1.5v, but struggles to pass more than 2 hours prime but I reckon after a little burn in it, should be fine.

Got my cab2e up to 2.9ghz perfectly stable at 1.64v. Temps are bit high though ranging from 56-60 at load during prime95 and OCCT. Got it OCCT stable with the same volts at 2.925ghz but it fails prime95 after 8 minutes. I think I'm gonna try and remove the IHS so I can pump more volts into it without raising the temps. What do you guys think?

I've got the same stepping, and boy is it cold bugged!

    265 max htt at -10C
    290 max htt at 0C
    320 max htt at 10C

Those results were the same with a 7,8 and 9 multiplier and several dividers tried. I suppose I've have to do soe air testing

nice Pi x714n! My opty tops out around 2950Mhz with a high 29s Pi - not great because I'm running a 266 divider (cpu/14) so the mem is only just overclocked.

At least I could run the old 2x256micron @2.5-2-2-5 & 1T, over the weekend I bought some samsung cheapo DDR 2x512 and its not good. Seems unstable @ 1T and has seriously high refresh times, better for my games with a gig at least. And it was only £50.

CPU City in the UK was selling them, but they are now sold out unfortunately.

Yep, as was the FX57 with this stepping. Think CABGEs are best for sub-zero temps.

Interesting. IIRC, 57c MCT was what the first CABYE's (week 0536) were getting too, and these CAB2E's appear to be o/c'ing about the same.

CABGE were usually 55c, and CABNE 0528/0530 were 60c and up.

It still appears that even the chips that are not hitting 3gigs on air are still overclocking better than a very good san diego.
I think that amd has struck gold with the overclocking community.
now if the dual cores start giving better than average results, they will sell like wildfire.
Already dual core opteron 1.8ghz 2 x 1mg cache for less than $300us. Awesome!!

I know of a person who has a 144 CAB2E with a MCT of 58c. Only one higher but thought I should throw it in there, however, I am not 100% of this - he might be telling a porkie.
