This immediately brought stability to the large FFT tests. Again, I was stupid - this should have been the first thing I tried knowing that Opterons are sensitive to these settings. Large FFT's are now a breeze, even at low voltage. Incidentally, my single core CABNE likes those values too, which got me thinking...
