    Hi everyone, my first post here. Here is the Sapphire X800GTO plain I just bought...

    Are they compatible? If it doesn't work, can I flash to the stock GTO2 bios, or will I have to find the one made for this card?

    Try the GTO2 16p bios on techpowerup. Then use ATItool to see if the extra pipes opened up.

    Alright, I got my

    CONNECT3D X800 GTO 256MB

    I get 6522 3dmarks in 3dmark05 on 16 pipes, 564/564 clocks, stock cooling, no voltmod
    On catalyst 5.10

    what version of rabit are you using to edit the bios? every time i open a bios rabit crashes and closes!

    is it better to flash the card with the modded gto2 bios or a proper xtpe bios (if so which one?) is it just the memory timings that are different?

    yea 1.7 works fine for me , saw in the read me it says it added support for x850 series so 1.5 wont work with it

    578 Max on core and about 540-550 on the memory.
