Got some OCZ GX PC3500's (UTT BH I think). Worth posting my results?
i've seen people mention the Vagp when overclocking the dimms. is it that important? i have the same Twinmos you have Byron but can do 245mhz @3.1v's with one and 240mhz same v with the other but nothing with both in the board. my memory controller can't be that bad. 3700+ s754 clawhammer.Originally Posted by Byron

No rig right now.
Four sticks of Twinmos SP PC3500 BH-5 :
45 ::=
3.1 - 243
3.2 - 245
3.3 - 247
3.4 - 252
3.5 - 256
3.6 - N/A
79 ::=
3.1 - 244
3.2 - 249
3.3 - 250
3.4 - 254
3.5 - 257
3.6 - 260
80 ::=
3.1 - 243
3.2 - 247
3.3 - 249
3.4 - 253
3.5 - 257
3.6 - 258
82 ::=
3.1 - 244
3.2 - 249
3.3 - 253
3.4 - 256
3.5 - 259
3.6 - 262
The 45 stick didn't like 3.6v at all, wouldn't even run 256MHz, it's from a different batch than the others though.
The timings were 2-2-2-5-7-17-2-2-1-2 with all else set to auto on a DFI NF4 Ultra-D with 0623-2BT bios.

i do not see much Intel entries...esp for the OCZ Gold VX4000...anybody can provide me with some info? i am hoping to get a VX for my intel setup....my P4P800 E-Deluxe is able to provide 3.4Vdimm according to OCZ website with DDR Booster...can anybody confirm dat the VX4000 actually performs to specs which is 250Mhz @ 3.3Vdimm? on an Intel platform...juz fr info, i am using a 3.0E S478 dat has a max fsb of 267. I read many reviews on the VX4000, but all of it are tested on AMD S939 platform...i cant find any Intel platfrom reviews...
comapring to mushkin XP4000, it does not guarantee that it will perform to spec if one is NOT on AMD S939 platform...so kinda a headache for me...since i cant get much confirmation of the VX4000 either....even tho it did not mention anythin bout intel platform, except for NF2 ultra..
