From what I've read it seems that Yonah is just a dual P-M Banias with improved SSE and FPU and a 166mHz quadpumped bus.

Will you guys buy Yonah, or will you wait for Merom (4Mb L2)?
Well, Yonah will change it more than that, and if you didnt know; there will be single core versions as well

    • Smart Cache (on dual cores)
    • Up to 1000 times more leakage resistant transistors
    • 65 nm
    • 50%+ higher performance per watt (aprox. for each core)

I cant wait to see if those new improved transistors will make these the most overclockable cpus ever..

I dont buy new systems very often, but the Yonah or Merom may be a reason to do so. But ill decide that when I see how the Yonah overclock, if I dont get impressed ill just wait for Merom and compare the two.
