sweet, i want one
Cool, now all we need is for it to be tested on LN2!
Waiting for Turion w/ user-exchangeable video card & lower ms response LCD's/OLED's.
As i can see ATI's SM3.0 is better and its their first generation that has it.Originally Posted by Mad Pistol
And dont you think ATI can improve their drivers alot considers this is the first ones =)
Everything extra is bad!
This looks great and all, but how about some game tests, like HL2, CS:S, Doom 3(just to see where it sits vs. Nvidia). ATI has always done better in 3DMark.

Plenty happy with my GTX.![]()
YUP
Im not sure if this was posted already but I cant see it in this thread.
Source3DMark05 score = 12164
Driver settings = performance mode in CCC
CPU speed = 3.59GHz (1.74V)
System Memory = 239 MHz 2-2-2-5 (3.42VMushkin Redline)
Hyperstransport Speed = 239 x 5 -> 1.2GHz
Engine clock = 864 MHz (programmed the core voltage regulator with a value of "a". I tried increasing the voltage more by going to "9" and the board immediately dies…is it supposed to do that????)
Memory clock = 990 MHz (programmed regulator for MVDDC and MVDDQ to "bf")
Is that stock cooling on the GTX? Sans vmods? Don't think so![]()
The 10K with X1800 it's broken with a 3700+...I think with an FX-57 the score can be better!?
Battlefield 3: Nachthymnen666
And also remember, these are on launch drivers, the gtx has gone through several driver optimizations.
Furthermore, you're using an FX-55 at 2.9 ghz vs a sandy at 2.8, so yes it equals out, but that it equals out at launch with overclocking on air is impressive.

630/1410 is a nice OC and nice scoreOriginally Posted by MickeyMouse
stock is 500/1200 (depending on manufacture) so 21% core and 15% mem.
if a X1800 could get to 751 / 1725 mem i wonder what those scores would climb too![]()
also equalize the CPU clock by upping the 2.79 160mhz to 2.95mhz like the FX cpu.
either way kick ass scores congrates![]()

nice card but i thought it would score better seems i have to wait for some xtreme cooling
Has anyone even seen these for sale? Has anyone seen any x1800 card for sale. Nice vaporware but no one is going to be able to buy one and at that power consuption rate I don't think I would trust anything less than a zippy 700 watter to run it.
I've been checking sites all day and no mention of any X1800's for sale.Originally Posted by speed bump
