    WR?........i'd be surprised.......one of my P4 2.4B CPUs ran 3.6GHz fine......i used it for folding and all on stock cooling with Asrock P4 combo board........i don't think 3.7GHz would be a W.R. cause that chip sure would have smashed the crap out of that W.R. with some decent air or water cooling

    Is that an ES, Srecko?

    That 18x multi is suspicious. And no, it's not a WR.

    EDIT: For some reason I this was a 2.4C....it might be a record after all (doubtful), but the multi makes sense now.

    Didn't notice it was a 2.4B....lemme see if I can find a higher clocked one quickly.

    EDIT: can't find anything immediately--looks like it's yours.

    I did 3.6Ghz http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=35249 with c2Ghz and crepply mobo with BOX cooling.
    I think with P4C800 and W/C 4Ghz screenie is very possible.

    well, that's a celeron and this is a P4.... not really apples and apples.

    That's a nice oc on that 2.4B, my 2.4C's in my sig.... is that a stable overclock or just one that's good enough to validate?

    Make sure you're cooling your NB and MOSFETs..... at that high of a FSB and voltage those will be getting pretty hot. You've got the board to do it though, I loved my IC7-G.... it was an awesome overclocker.

    pretty funny that an WR overclocking is established with air-cooling

    * EPoX EP-4PEAEI
    * SEITEC DDR333 256MB (4:4:1)

    * Windows 2000

    seems to be even C1 core.. so maybe you'll get well over 4ghz with yours using DI

    btw the 133fsb p4 WR is afaik rather high.. because of the 133fsb prescotts :P

    Yes mine was also on air. I will try chiller first then CO2, maybe ln2 later. 2.4C is very important historically, at least for me.

    Good luck Srecko

    Maybe go 3-4-4-8 and up vAGP + cool NB, but I think you just plain need better cooling. Maybe try PCI video card.

    We are both owned by:
    If I can't get to 4.4GHz then Macci needs to replace me in WRDB.
