    They don't at all scale like a sd. That's why they just can't be a regular sd with operton lasered on the IHS.

    They could be the center of wafer dies...they should have the same characterstics in theory, but something is irking me a little. Namely, does anybody have a good pic of a nakid SD? It seems to me this core is a little taller and a little narrower than a San Diego--I could be completely wrong as I don't have one in front of me, however.

    It also strikes me that they are different than most SDs. It does seem that SDs like less volts than say, Venices, but these opterons are extremely low-volt, more so than SDs. A naked comparison between Opti and SD would be a good idea. It can't just be taken from the center of the wafer, tha twould just be an SD with an 00xx batch number.
