Bad theory...I didn't gain a whole lot from losing the IHS (which wasn't flat) and the inside paste was the same as the stuff from my X2.

Maybe these TDPs are actually accurate and the A64s are overshoots? Actually, we KNOW the A64s are in fact overshoots.
