Opteron @ 3050mhz... confusing little bugger...

3070mhz 1m was on ice water. Yes, I got 20mhz from ice water Voltage doesn't help at all. Cooled with a eheim 1250 in a 2 gallon cooler, a dtek procore, and a swiffy MCW6002. I get windows file corrupt errors if I try and go over 3050 on water or 3070 with ice in my res... Weird... N4D623 BIOS on my DFI NF4. Higher HTTs work fine with 9x multi. Does this thing just wall or do I have other issues? I've rules out max htt, voltages, and ram.

About to run some 3d Maybe try 32m at 3050mhz as well.

That settles it... screw the Sempron powa... I'm getting my hands on a 144 for my upgrade next month. The budget's tight, but you can always make more money right?

awesome overclock dude. How much did u pay for ur 146? You got it 200Mhz over an FX57 so well done, if the 55 is 2.6, the 57 is 2.8 is 3Ghz the FX59? lol. Cant wait to see some benchies in 3d mode

Ok booting to run 3d now After that I'll try clocking the CPU again then its on with the mousepot and DI first thing tomorrow.

wow, not looking too good for better cooling then........hope di shows us some better results. still amazing for a $200 cpu though.

Never tried stock. Went from box to no IHS to water. In windows at 3.1ghz now, MASSIVE thanks to harleybro for saying something about loser mem timings. Raising preamble made a big difference in stability!

that part # is for S940 I'm pretty sure....use the AMD configuration page to get part# for S939

3200mhz pi 8m stable! loop 15 of 3250mhz 8m! No /13 divider for ram so I have to run my BH5 at a lowly 232mhz

Yes ice water. 3d03 hung at 3180, I think 265mhz ram is to high for opteron, at least at these timings. Maybe TRC needs to be raised to 8? I lowered my clocks to 3160 so lets see what happens...
