Question about superheat reading on rotary

I just got a 15,000btu Rotorex rotary compressor and am uncertain of where to take my temperature reading. The compressor has an accumulator on the suction inlet. Do I consider the accumulator as part of the compressor and take my temp reading 3-6 inches from the end of the accumulator or should I take my reading on or right next to the accumulator?

Just take them on the suction line 3 to 6 inches from accumulator.
