Cool that means as soon as I finish calc this thing should exist in forum land
Well i kept you all waiting for a while, this was not my choice but i can now spill the beans. I'm off on holiday this weekend so was eager to leak this before I left.
Bandied about right now, the name of the new performance ATI crossfire board is......
DFI CF-BT
Thats right DFI CF=crossfire and BT stands for....bigtoe...LOL...BIGTIME
It may not actually get this name, although it is being discussed within the ranks of DFI USA and DFI TW so i remain hopefull as do others who have known about this board for the past 2 weeks.
So there you go boys...its DFI...LOL

so this is not the RDX200 ?
Or the RDX200 is not based on the ATI reference design?
(1) CoolerMaster Cosmos S. . .(2) Corsair HX620. . .(3) Intel E8600 E0 /w TR Ultra-120 Extreme
(4) Asus Maximus II Formula. . .(5) Corsair Dominators 2x2GB PC8500. . .(6) WD Velociraptor 300GB + WD 320GB 7200RPM.
(7) ATI HD4870. . .(8) Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer Pro. . .(9) Hannspree 28" LCD + Soyo 24" LCD
So ZZF jumped the gun with the wrong board name? Or is that a completly separate board?Originally Posted by bigtoe

i guess the sky blue should have given it away. I mean which other company would do funky colors besides DFI?Originally Posted by bigtoe
Not too confident about their quality control. But since they are using the ATI reference design, it should be aight unless they decide to cut corners too.

They will not cut corners on components, that I have been promised. They may do away with the post code reader and replace it with the 4 LED's but thats about all. There is also some trick tweaks going in that should make it even better but I think DFI should tell you those details.Originally Posted by situman
DFI may end up with 2 crossfire boards if they decide to keep production of RDX200 but I have a feeling this board may be dropped...time will tell.
I have been promised the skyblue(maybe) special will be available to test before the end of this month....can't wait!!!

Wow another DFI ah? Didn't see that one coming, thought it was going to be one of ATI's smaller partners.
Thanks for the heads up tho me thinks October is upgradin time, just gotta decide which mobo to go for![]()
Intel Core i7 3820 / ASUS X79 Sabertooth
Gskill 2133mhz Quad 16GB / Auzentech X-FI Forte
Sapphire HD5970 OC 2GB

Thermaltake ToughPower 1500w PSU / OCZ 1250W PSU
Corsair H100
CoolerMaster CM-690 / Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Samsung T260HD 26" LCD / HDTV
sweet... i had originally thought the RX200 and the nf4 2x16 DFI board would solve dfi's reliablity issues (which are well known to me)
this makes me even more confident... i am most curious to see if the new nf4 or the CF-BT wins.. these next few months will be interesting indeed.
Another question: you speak about "preproduction board" here, any information how long until the board comes into retail?Originally Posted by bigtoe
