    Arrow DFI SLI-DR refusing to boot from CD

    im trying to install windows but my dfi board is being assy....i pop open the CD drive and restart....it takes me thru the normal bios procedure then when it gets to the screen where all the devices are listed the line blinks at me a few times and the system restarts

    ....help?

    maybe try pressing the select boot device option? Usually its like f8 or f9. Make sure the cd drive is connected

    Fixed it....you need to set the drive as Master and plug it into the grey plug

    LOL, I never assumed for a second you would have the cable oriented incorrectly... not a shot at you , just plain funny....

    it wasent that....it was that i was using the black cable (MA on cable select)....you need to set the drive to MA and plug it into the grey cable
