    Intel 570 ES @ 6GHz

Chip came in the mail this afternoon. Fired it up on the PC ICE cascade and nabbed a quick CPU-Z shot of a little over 6G's.

Haven't been able to get much over this yet... anyone have experience with a wall at 6ghz? i think my psu is probably the culprit... one of the newer 520W OCZ's.

I'm still on the stock bios for my P5WD2 so i may try to play with that as well.

I used to have links here demonstrating how awesome I am, but it's been so long that they're not very relevant (and the pictures have disappeared), so I guess I'll have to get working on new stuff.

    anything left in it?

looks like that might be a winner if you can get a bit more from it.

thast feakin awesome eshbach!! i cant wait to get a few more paychecks saved up so i can order my wishlist at newegg... the asus P5WD2 premium, 2x1 gigs of ddr2 800, the 490/1.3 xfx 7800gtx, and the beautiful 670, which btw has recently fallen into a bit more affordable price range. .
oh boy, i give this thread a couple more hours until someone comes and craps on it because its not dual prime stable....

hahahahaha....sorry, you blocked out the wrong info on the ES chip....you want to cover the serial number (on the bottom)...what you covered is just the product ID which is the same for all 570J ES chips.

    cool, frontpage

i blocked the correct information now, thanks for the heads up FCG.

i have a few more benches i hadn't uploaded yet.

    i did 3d01 and 03 at 5.5ghz with the GTX @ stock:

    03: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4224277

i also managed to knock a fair amount of time off my super pi:

I used to have links here demonstrating how awesome I am, but it's been so long that they're not very relevant (and the pictures have disappeared), so I guess I'll have to get working on new stuff.
