    Jiuhb 0302 Xp1700

Hi guys, I got a tray of these things today at work, just curious if anyone has tried 0302 yet, I told my boss to save me a few samples for this saturday, I can test them in a few different mobos, KD7 or Asus nforce delux boards. What board should I try these things out in?, Which board supports the highest vcore? I'll report back with my findings.
The last chip I tested was a JIUCB and it only hit 1950 on air, 1.8 volts on the A7N8X, didnt try the KD7 though. I do have a rear window defogger kit if I need to unlock these things, cause I dont think the L1 bridges are closed like the tbred A's are.
So, if anyone has tested these 0302, or want to know what they hit on air, let me know I can grab them on saturday and test them for you guys.
    ciao

I think the KD-7 has the higher voltages, but most folks seem to be running them in nForce2 boards like the Asus. The 0302s are just showing up and I think most folks are waiting for the weekend to install and test. What preliminary results I've seen so far are pretty good, with most hitting over 2ghz, and some as high as 2.3-2.4.

if you put that cpu in a KT400 board (KD7-R and some others), then it's standard unlocked ... as far as i know that is

they seem to be pretty good overclockers ..... mine did very close to 2ghz with default Vcore ...... added 0.05volts to stabilize at 2ghz ...... will do 2.3ghz at 1.9vcore but my watercooling isn't so great and our weather here is tropical (hot)

it's cool ! ..... here at xtremesystems is where i found out about the JIUHB stepping anyway .... just giving back my share of the infobank =) ..... i'm using a MAZE3 but not too happy about it. isn't AS3 supposed to perform better after a few days/hours ..... seems like mine deteriorated in performance ...... first time i installed this T-bred .... i was able to run at 2.3ghz and passed 3Dmark with temps around 53C ..... but now whenever i try 2.3ghz my temps immediately goes 55C and goes up ... this won't stabilize the CPU .... anything i run increases the temp to 60C w/c gets me BSOD right away .....

    tediber,
Temps should indeed get a couple degrees better in some days/hours. U sure the waterblock is seated properly? Nothing disrupting water flow is there?

    MudWhistle,
Do let us know how u make out

And tediber, id definatly check your waterblock seating or something man. With stock air cooling, i get 34-38C with 1.8v on my tbred.

got my chip in from newegg today, it is also a JIUHB 0302. It is looping 3D right now @ 2438MHz, 2.15v. This appears to be the max speed it will do 3DMark at.

Here's the highest it got into windows (also the first time it got into windows after putting in the CPU, I wanted a 1GHz OC the first time around) .

I'm extremely sure that my motherboard and/or some other non-CPU related component is holding it back though, since it seems to crap out past 188MHz FSB no matter what I do. About 190MHz FSB if I run crappy timings on the RAM. I suspect it might be because I have a Rev 1.0 version of the AT7.

Anyway, running it at 2358 MHz right now (188x12.5) and it seems to be doing alright, sitting at a nice and toasty 22ÂșC (I give it more voltage to prevent condensation, lol) .

My chip and KE's are same week and 2 digits apart (same order). I have maxed out my ram and multiplier (Kingmax PC2700 on an 8k3a). 185 isnt stable, but I am pretty sure it's the ram. I have a jumper setup for getting higher than 12.5 I will put on shortly. Here's a cpuid:

I am having some fun with a JUICB 0251 1700xp+ tbred. Managing to get some good numbers with my 8RDA mobo.
Using GEil3500 cas 2 ram, the mobo wont run the ram at 166mhz no matter what setting, but will run the ram happily at 200mhz at 4-2-2 settings!! Go figure that one. Running memtest86 at 166mhz it failed every time, but bumped it up to 200mhz, rock stable memory!!

Little update, just got home from work, I have my Jiuhb 0302 Xp1700 in a stock Abit KD7 doing 1866 at default voltage on a volcano 7+ @ 5000rpm, no artic silver just white paste (ran out), just changed the multplier to 14X133 before I even loaded an OS, well 98 is on there now, and running prime stable 1866mhz at default voltage. I always burn in at default voltage for a few hours before I really turn up the heat, I'll report back in a few hours on my progress, ciao for now.

Dude, you should know, that 8K3A has some problems regarding correct on-die readings with Tbred CPUs.... that's why you're getting so high readings

Little update again, I burned in overnight running prime 95, now i'm running at 11.5X180 but need some serious voltage to get there, 1.9 volts, these 1700's seem to need a lot more juice to climb in the 2200 range, or perhaps it's just my volcano 7+ not being able to dispell heat fast enough, what is a safe maximum for voltage on the kd7/xp1700 tbred b?

I dont think i'll go over 2 volts with this cpu as it is not mine and do not want to kill it, im guessing i could hit around 2200mhz on air stable with this cpu, not bad for a 1466mhz chip. Good job AMD.

Next up will be a aiuhb 2100, need to find some to test, ciao for now.

On another note, i'm very impressed with this stock KD7, my +5 volt has *never* fluctuated at all, it does not drop below 5.08 volts on a cheap enermax 300W power supply, at any speed / voltage, I guess that P4 connecter really does help, too bad other manufacturers do not implement this idea as it really helps stabiliy.
