    PQI TURBO 2G (2x1204MB) test

    CPU:P4-540 (200X14) 2.8G
    MB: ASUS P5GD1 915P (BIOS 1009)
    RAM:PQI (1024*2) DDR400 default 3-4-4-8

The default timing is quite loose at 3-4-4-8
but as you see in the pictures it is easy to set at 2-3-2-5 DDR400 and pass the Memtest 1.55 without any volt rise.( default 2.6V)

also, this pair can run dual at DDR500 with 2.5-4-4-8 at 2.8V
just think it is a good buy for everyone who wants to have a pair of 1gb rams ($19x~$2xx...PQI recently offered extra $20 mail-in rebate on newegg )

At just $191 at Newegg I'm sure someone with an A64 rig will get around to testing it. Don't see the rebate however.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Elixer is the same stuff Patriot is using on their 2gig set.

Mazinger, did you succeed remove the HS? If so, what chips are there? Could you post a picture?

I've got a pair of PQI PC3200-2048 DB, but the results are very disappointing, I'll get another pair next week.
