    Jetway 939GT4-SLI

I dont know if anyone else has seen this review at Anandtech, but thought I would get it out here since it seems like a pretty good enthusiast board. Could be a good option if the ATI boards dont turn out as well as expected *knock on wood*, as an alternative to the DFI.

I am thinking about grabbing one myself just to be a little different, and to replace my fairly weak Chaintech.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=72390 Already got it in the news section....anyway, I was very impressed by the board considering the price and how bad I thought it would do, LOL.

The free eVGA board wasn't as bad as I adamantly insisted it was in other threads I guess (seeing as this board is the same minus the lifetime warranty).

This board looks like it might be able to break every SLI record out there if it can keep the level of memory and cpu performance as high as the DFI. The reason I say that is because of it's sli performance at stock speeds...it gets a very nice lead on the DFI . Anandtech said something like how they thought the jumperless/switchless SLI design might have been the reason. Who knows and who cares as long as we have competition to drive prices down and a new sweet performer for cheap

that board looks impressive...for $129 and SLI. And what performance!

It beats all the other boards by almost 1700 points in aquamark 3 single card, and by 2500 in SLI!!

I can see this board being the next nf7 - cheap, amazing overclocker. I really would have bought that, had it been around two weeks ago.

Well it has been reviewed by OCW almost 2 months back. I was also surprised with the result they got. Anandtech review has just kinda put seal on its good performance for less price. But again I wish it was avlbl here in Mumbai. Would not mind to get another top sli performer for sure, now that I have saved enough.

id never seen it before, or even heard of it. At least they sent it to anand, who gave it some publicity. They obviously put some thought in, and deserve to do well.

The board is pretty good, has some minor bios issues but EVGA are releasing the new bios soon. The 7800GT is awesome! It overclocks like mad:

Anybody else thinks it looks like a DFI rip-off? Or maybe it's made by DFI for Jetway?

    1) Reset/power switches
    2) Rounded corners
    3) Similar mosfets & caps
    etc?

    Nettwerk
Does 3.25V on the RAM work? Hmm, I wonder if that's still off the 3.3V rail

its not a DFI rip off, all the things you list are being used and have been used by many companies, its just the first enthusiast board we have seen from jetway and it looks like they did their homework.

"That Evga board is just a rebadged chaintech vnf4 sli." This is what Fatfreepork said in the on-line deals&sales. I didn't want a chaintech board but if it's a jetway I just get it and the 7800.

They have the flash protect enabled by default in the bios so if you tried to flash without first disabling it you won't be able to flash the bios, you can also force the flash.
