    Conroe...
    The conroe uses 4mb's of L2, it is a SSE monster. 2 cores, extra 64 bit line. About it. Will be a great multi-tasker. But its really not that impressave.

    I thought
    Trc = Tras + Trp
    then
    Trfc = Trc + (2 - 4)

    But neither you or sierra_bound seems to be using this in their A64 Tweaker, why is that? Am i missing something? Or is the above wrong?

    Also how come noone is using Everest or Sciencemark 2 or something else that benches latency? From what i've seen DDR416@ 2-2-2-6, DDR500@2.5-3-3-7 and DDR560@3-4-4-8 have within 4% the same latency yet the bandwidth difference is about 20-22%.

    No screenshots but my Everest Read is 7418MB/s, Latency is 41.5ns @280MHz 3-3-3-8.
    Hope this helps.

    wickedld9 VERYimpressive! How do you manage that? What is the cpu multiplier? htt multiplier and memory ratio?

    If i try fsb 278, cpu multiplier 9, htt multiplier 3, and memory 1:1 at 278@2.5-3-3-7 with trc=12, trfc=16, 1T i only get write 2683, read 6363 and latency 45.4ns.
    I suppose it is because you are running on a higher cpu multiplier? And because of the tweakeability of the dfi?

    Thanks! I'm much happier with this memory than 4x512 UTT.

    Running 10 multi, the CPU MHZ helps out a bit.
    HTT multi is set to Auto
    Not sure of all my timings other than Trc-10, I'll try to get a tweaker shot tonight for you. I'm sure being able to tweak with the DFI helps out a little also, though I'm starting to get frustrated with my board. It's starting to hang at boot from time to time, cold boot or not.

    I have an Asus A8N SLI Premiun and its less tweakebale, but does the job i want it to do which is basically run my X2 4400+ @2.5GHz with the 1Gb G.Skill La running at either 1:1 @250 (cpu mult 10) or 1:1 @278 (cpu mult 9).

    I am looking to upgrade to 2Gb and thinking to get ballisitix 2Gb. Still trying to establishing what hit i'll get dropping to 3-3-3-8 from 2.5-3-3-7 at those speeds. Hence the questions.
