i tried researching whether the vapoLS is compatible with the lian li pcv1000 cases but couldn't find much. all i could find was that most people thought the installation wasn't possible. i love this case despite it's mediocre cooling so i decided to try to install the vapo into it anyway.
the installation went perfectly. the hardest part was actually drilling the mounting holes in the bottom of the case. the template for cutting the holes on the bottom of the case wasn't very exact so i had to drill multiple holes till i finally got it to match. in addition, drilling the small mounting holes into the mesh portion of the bottom of the case wasn't too easy. the rest of the installation was pretty standard and actually easy. total time spent including case prep etc was about 4-5 hours. instead of drilling a rectangular hole in the bottom of the case, i opted to go for a circular hole and i think the results were really good. for those wondering, the lian li came with wheels which i attached to the vapo using velcro, thus maintaining my warranty.
