I had 4 x 8GB sticks and it was as Fugger mentioned, voltage needed to be at a certain number and then the XMP profile worked perfectly. What I did was get all sticks running at at much lower than rated at and when that booted without issue dialed in the XMP profile and upped the voltage and never look back.
