Cas 6 2700+ is a tall order, you need the sticks and the imc to do it not just one or the other. I have never had luck with patriot on cold. I think it may be the PCB mine was 8117 black PCB, decent on air but best of 8 2400 Sectors did 2666 6-10-6 not a penny more. You can also try setting failure boot guard to 3 if you are having trouble training

Also, my cpu cold bugs at around -148 degrees, but after around 6-6.2 I get memory access violation errors on the screen and if I bump multi up more the system will freeze but I can reset it via reset button fine, not a cold bug type crash. Am I doing something wrong or is the IMC just bad? Happens with memory on auto so 1333 speed and uncore was around 5.3-5.4 all the time when testing max frequency.
DC and and pentiums do this for me as well and its very frustrating, I dont think there is a fix for it on any board. Uncore around 5.4 should be good, I cant do much more on the couple of ES's ive tried. When doing 5ghz and 4ghz benching, try to find what your IMC likes, not what your CB is. My CB is -125c but my IMC likes around -90c for 2820 6-10-6

Also slow mode doesn't work. Ln2 mode seems to work fine since stock voltages are different and I can see jumbo V options.
Slow mode works, just make sure thermal throttle is enabled in the bios in the CPU page. The way its implemented is it tells the system the CPU is over 100c so it kicks down to x8 so if thermal throttle is disabled it will not work.
Either way its a great start man keep pushing and I suggest the bullant style of benching. Slow and steady he always ends up getting what he wants in the end!
