It's messy because the "launch in Hawaii", revealed next to nothing about it, no dates, no gaming performance, no price. When the impression before hand was we were going to get that information. Look at how disappointed people were with the presentation. If it wasn't for the Mantle unveil, the launch would have been a disaster. The point of a presentation is to get people informed and excited about the product. The presentation just didn't do that for Hawaii. Most of the hype and excitement for this product has been generated from supposed leaks and rumors.
AMD could have revealed a bit more. Nvidia let everyone know the specs of gk110, month and months before launch.
