i do have quite a few add-ons and i just recently restarted ff.
actually restarted the os, had a power brown out for a bit earlier. so this is a bit lower than what i'm used to.
guess i'll just have to go through and un-install each add-on one by one and see what makes a difference if any has a larger impact than others do. hope that's the case but doubting it.
