    Ket,

Many thanks for your reply. My problem is not only the Logitech webcam. The USB 3.0 port of the Asrock P67 Extreme4 doesn't work with a wide range of USB devices like:
USB2 modems, USB2 TV tuners, some USB2 memory sticks, some USB 3.0 HDDs.

The chip itself is touted as being the world’s fastest USB 3.0 controller and the first to be interoperable with USB 2.0 and 1.1. EtronTech also claim their drivers are WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) tested and certified.
While the Etron chip is touted "the world’s fastest USB 3.0 controller and the first to be interoperable with USB 2.0 and 1.1", the fact is that from 10 USB devices which I own, only 3 are working properly with my Asrock P67 Extreme4 motherboard's USB 3.0 ports.
At the same time all of these devices work correctly with my laptop which is equipped with the NEC USB 3.0 host controller.

I have an USB 3.0 HDD which is getting disconnected while copying large files, thus corrupting my data.
I have an USB 2.0 memory stick which is seen sometimes as unformatted on the USB 3.0 port, sometimes is seen correctly.
I can't use my USB TV tuners at all on the USB 3.0 ports of this motherboard.

I wouldn't recommend this motherboard to those who need the USB 3.0 port functionality.

    Regards,
    bat4
