Types of PCB :-
1. "T"
2. "N"
3. "S" (rarely seen)
On the one hand, the majority of the PCB is marked as "T" of which the quality varies in general. The “T” ones are getting better & better every day (especially for regular use) for new batches like Rbuass’ 975, Over@locker886s’ 555 (I guess) & my 965. However, the IMC of latest “T” chips dun work the same as b4.
On the other, early weeks & batches of the "N" ones were great clockers, but they could be easily killed under extreme cooling because of its’ vulnerable IMC. Also note that things changed in the new "N" PCB chips lately though, the IMC has become stronger with diff. CPU pins. If you did follow the 955/555 records of mine & Namegts', you would have known the kind of PCB of our chips!
Some of us might have noticed that the type of PCB for Intel/AMD chips & even display cards has much to do with tolerance of diff. temp. So if we pay more attention to the details & other characteristics, we’ll able to find good ones whether it's a "T" or "N"!
