I may go for the i7 930, looks decent, if I can squeeze between 4.2 and 4.5 out of it I will be pleased. It's the chip that replaced the 920? I see there is also a 960, but the difference appears to be only the stock clock on the chip, but double the price.
You may also want to consider a good XEON eg. W3520 etc
