Variable Voltage Control for Iwaki RD30
Hi,
I have an Iwaki RD30 pump.
I purchased a 12 to 24 Volt DC mod system from Performance PC's. The fully mod'ed setup is shown at the bottom of the page at this URL:

As far as I can tell, there is no sort is variability control with the fully mod'ed setup - it just has one setting (24 V). I'd line to control the input voltage to have the system run at ~ 18 volts. I was thinking of using a fan control / rheometer to do this. The fan controller that I have is this (Lamptron Fan Controller, FC2)

This unit can handle up to 45 watts, so, it should be able to handle the Iwaki. I'd like to control the input going into the voltage mod for the pump, setting it lower, so that my output will be around 18V.
Has anybody used such a setup to control an Iwaki pump? Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
