    Ah that is a bit rubbish....

    The performance loss looks small with single disk but larger with a RAID config?

    How much larger?

    Maybe we will have to wait for a year for Intel to release their SATA3 controller for better SATA3 performance?

    The memory issues are mostly caused by CPU seating on X58 (to much CPU movement possible in the socket). On one board I had to re-seat 4 times before getting it to run sweetly with the ram. Personally i'd set it up outside the case and test until it was behaving itself
