As someone else stated, the HR-05 IFX will not fit. The pipe coming out the base is too elongated before it bends upwards, it'll hit the side of the stock heat-sink, the part where the ROG logo is. You're only choice would be the SLI version of the HR-05 IFX, Xigmatek Porter or a copper chipset heat-sink which I don't have the name of, but should be available in Europe. I'll post back when I get the name of it.
That looks great! When I built my system I had a 4870 X2 from a previous build, so I used that. Is the 5870 significantly faster? It's amazing how water cooling removes the "bulk" from inside the PC, no CPU heat-sink, fan, etc., the Noctua U6 looks lonely! Nice system.
I'm sure rickxbox will tell you, but my guess would be to separate the heat from the video card from the heat on the U6, so there's an air gap in-between them. That's just speculation though.
